Baptisms
The birth of a child is a big event for any family. We welcome and encourage commitment to God at this time.
We offer both Thanksgiving and Baptism services at St Peter's.
A Baptism service expresses a greater commitment to church attendance, a desire to bring up children as Christians and to learn from the Bible.
A Thanksgiving gives you the opportunity to give thanks publicly for the birth of your child without making any Christian promises as you would in a Baptism.
Both Baptisms and Thanksgivings take place in our Family Service on the second Sunday of the month.
