Groups for Adults.
The following are our daytime and evening groups for adults. Please find details of our Sunday meetings, Youth Groups and Upcoming Events on the linked pages in orange.
Central Prayer Meeting
Our central prayer meeting is held on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm in the Glebe lounge. We believe that God listens and actively answers prayer so meeting together is a great way to build our confidence in bringing ourselves before the Lord with thanks, bringing petitions for our parish, our country and our planet. Sessions are guided with helpful notes and the meetings are always a great encouragement. All are welcome – you won’t be asked to pray out loud or in front of other people if you are not comfortable with that!
Discovering Prayer
On the 4th Tuesday of each month, the Tuesday Group run “Discovering Prayer” from 2pm in the Glebe Lounge to encourage one another in our praying.
God is our Father, who seeks to be close to all of us and we grow in our relationship by talking with Him and sharing this with all who are members of His family. Our aim is to have a relaxed time where no one will feel they have to pray aloud.
As in church we will use some traditional and modern written prayers to help us pray and worship our amazing God.
You can join and leave the meeting when you want to. If you have children below school age, you are very welcome to bring them along, too. Come and discover prayer with us!
